Episode 10 of Short Stories follows us on a trip to the Viking Service Centre in Florida to oversee the final QC of the Viking 54C before it headed across the Pacific Ocean. We took it for a shakedown trip to the Bahamas and to say it exceeded our expectations would be a significant understatement! It’s crystal clear why it took home the inaugural “BEST BOAT OF SHOW” in its debut year at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. We saw a top end of 47 knots cruising across the Bahama blue water while we cruised comfortably and unbelievably dry at 30-34 knots at 1750rpm. The new Viking hull design is absolutely incredible and unmatched and was a clear indication of why they are the world leaders in the Luxury Sports Fishing market.
