STEP 1: Discovery Call
DISCOVERY CALLTo start, we go through a deep dive exploration session to find out what your intended use is for the boat – who you’re going to be using it with, where you plan on using it and what you plan on doing with it. After we’ve discovered what you’re looking for in a boat, we’ll prepare a range of suitable boats on the water, ready for you to view, test drive and experience. SUBMIT ENQUIRY |
STEP 2: TEST DRIVE
TEST DRIVEYou must feel comfortable and safe in your boat, which is why we believe the test drive is the most important (and often most overlooked) steps in a buyers boating journey. Once we’ve discovered what kind of boat would best suit you and your boating needs, it’s all about testing the boat on the water and experiencing the ride and handling. We will arrange a selection of boats that match your criteria and arrange a time that suits you to test each boat until you find the perfect fit. SUBMIT ENQUIRY |
STEP 3: OPTIONS PRESENTED
OPTIONS PRESENTEDAfter test-driving the boats and gathering a deeper understanding for what is going to suit you best, we’ll present the different boats/models with tailored options for you to consider. Within the email, we will give an explanation as to how/why these specific models meet your needs and outlay the next steps for you to start your boating journey. STEP 4: THE DELIVERY PROCESS
THE DELIVERY PROCESSOnce your boat has been ordered, we begin the delivery process – one that is curated specifically to you and your new boat purchase. You’ll be introduced to our Delivery Manager, who will keep you up to date every step of the way and manage the delivery and handover of your new boat. Once all of the QC (quality checks) and PD (pre-delivery) procedures have been carried out and your boat is ready for handover, we’ll coordinate a date that suits you for your full handover and training. STEP 5: UNLIMITED DRIVER TRAINING
UNLIMITED DRIVER TRAININGThe most common reason we hear why people end up having a negative boating experience is due to a lack of confidence in handling and owning their boat. This is why we introduced our unique personalised 1-on-1 driver training and coaching, unlimited lessons available for you and your family. STEP 6: GO BOATING
GO BOATINGOnce your handover is finalised, you’re ready to go boating and start creating memories with your friends and family. As part of the Short Marine difference, once the handover is completed the relationship doesn’t stop here, that’s where it starts. As part of the Short Marine family you can expect invitations to Short Marine events throughout the year, from Fishing days and training days with industry experts, Open Days to experience the latest model releases and VIP events and Boat Shows. You’ll also be introduced to your own personal relationship manager who will build and manage your maintenance plan for all the service required for your boat so you don’t have to worry about what needs doing, when it needs doing and scheduling in. It’s our goal to make your boating experience easy and enjoyable and our service team allows you to do that. |
