Short Marine Queensland Shootout 2026

The Queensland Shootout makes its debut on June 20th, marking the first time Short Marine brings this much-loved event to Queensland waters. Building on the success of the Sydney Shootout, the event promises a full day of fishing, camaraderie, and quality time on the water with family and friends. Open to anglers of all skill levels, it’s designed to be inclusive, welcoming men’s, women’s, and junior participants. This year, we’re also proud to continue our support of Gotcha4Life, raising awareness for mental fitness and connection within our community. With great prizes, a strong sense of community, and a shared passion for boating, the Queensland Shootout is set to become a standout event on the calendar.

Participation is by donation, which acts as your entry fee, with all contributions supporting Gotcha4Life’s vital programs in schools, workplaces, sports clubs, and the wider community.
